READ THIS FIRST:
This promotion is only for users who use PC/Windows.
The free watch face you will receive must be installed using your computer, not through Connect IQ.
With that clarified:
this is as simple as copying a file to a USB drive.
You’ll do it using the Garmin USB cable you use to charge your watch.
If you don’t have it, you WON’T be able to install it.
I want you to understand this so we can avoid any frustration on your part and prevent complaints on my end.
If you DO NOT agree, please do not use this promotion.
HOW TO INSTALL IT USING YOUR COMPUTER (Windows):
After sending the screenshot and indicating which design you want, you will receive an email with the download link for your watch face (make sure you write your email correctly above).*
The link will download a file named “xxxxxx.prg“;
this file is your watch face,
which you will need to copy and paste to your watch.
Then, connect your watch to your computer using the Garmin USB cable you use to charge it.
STEPS:
1 – Connect your watch to your PC using the Garmin USB cable and wait for it to appear (it will show the model name of your watch).
2 – Once it appears, go to “Internal Storage.”
3 – Open the folder “GARMIN.”
4 – Open the folder “Apps.”
5 – Paste the file “xxxxx.prg” in this location (inside the “Apps” folder).
That’s it!
Now simply disconnect the watch, and after a few seconds, the watch face will be installed on your device.
If it doesn’t appear right away, select it from the list of watch faces on the watch.
